Katie began her first day of Pre-K yesterday. She was so excited! She got this outfit for the first day and couldn't wait to wear it. Grammie got her new shoes called twinkle toes. They have gems on the toes and they also light up. She loves to go into the mud room with the light out and say "mommy I'll just make the twinkle toes light up so you can see!" So after my mild seizure from the twinkling (which is more like an insane strobe light) I say "Katie those really aren't helping me find the door." The mud room has no window!
She was so excited to start her new school. She gets to take a snack to school every day so she picked out this awesome Dora lunchbox. She has been so excited to use it, since it is "like real school to have a lunchbox." Snack time turned out to be her favorite part of the day!

Well, since Katie is so grown up and truly advanced for her age lets hope she stays young forever! She is so adorable and I remember thinking with my kids where did the time go?
