Doggie!!!!

This is Katie's first dolly. She got it from Great Grams during a visit, and as an infant really loved it. When I reminded her about the doll she ran and got it. Side note; is it not strange how alike Katie and Clint look??? Siblings typically look something alike, but these two could be, at moments, one and the same. Although Clint is a bit bigger!!

Anyway, this is Clint's dolly. He got this little doggy as a gift from his Great-Great Aunt Ruth (sorry to make you sound older than you are with the great great business Aunt Ruth!) He loves this doggy. He loves it so much it is the first object he has held his fat little arms out to get. He grabs it with both arms and hugs it to his face. Sometimes he gives it a BIG kiss. Sometimes he bites it, and other times he just rubs it against his nose. He holds it so tight. If he is slightly upset you just shake it in front of him and he takes it like a lifeline. Like it is the only thing that understands him at the moment.

It's ears have become a little crunchy from all the chewing, and the nose is a little faded from too many kisses. Clint loves his little doggy! I hope it lasts forever!
