A time to be thankful

Rick and I are so blessed.  We have one another, which this week amidst the stomach flu, made us so grateful!  We work so well together to make our family work.  We both love not only each other, but these two little children we created.  They are the source for our laughter, joy, stress, and love.  Each has one amazing personality.  We felt complete.  We thought we were.  But God always sets the story of our lives out for us and he let us know that our family was not yet complete.  So in the beginning of June 2012 we will be adding another little Copsey to our family.  After all, he looks like he has room for one more on that lap doesn't he?

Lordy, Lordy, Ricky's 40!!!

40 years ago (well in this picture maybe 38 or so) Rick came into the world a happy little kiddo.
He gave his poor mother many, MANY years of grief.  In fact sometimes it seems as if it still is one of his favorite past times!
He grew into a handsome man.
 Married this awesome lady!!!

And had these two adorable kids!!!!  Who graciously take after their father in giving their mother a hard time!!!
So we Copsey's are spending this weekend spoiling rotten our favorite Dad/Husband!
Wish him a Happy Birthday if you see him or even just think of it!!!

First Snow of the year...Well of the fall anyway!

We seem to get snow pretty quickly around these parts.  We typically finish seeing snow around the beginning of June, and get it again in October or November.  This year was no different.  Clint got to experience snow today for pretty much the first time.  He wasn't walking until July so he didn't spend much time in the snow before this.  He LOVED it!!!
Katie went right to work on those snow angels, although it wasn't very thick and she went down to the leaves and grass pretty quickly!
The kids are pretty good helpers.  They both helped with the shoveling today.  I had the camera so of course I couldn't help.  Darn!!!
Since the snow wasn't that thick Rick took them sledding down the street.  Last year Clint didn't like it.  This year he thought it was pretty awesome!
Katie always loves being taken for a ride, and enjoyed some sledding too!!!
She especially loved the fall when Daddy whipped the sled around!  WIPE OUT!!!
