Our little Abby was born last Tuesday, June 5th. She was almost two weeks late, and when she arrived we were shocked to find out she was our smallest baby! She weighed in at 7 lbs 3 ozs and 19 inches long. She has long brown hair and very dark eyes.
This is mostly how she looks, as she sleeps all the time. The first week was rough on sleep but we seemed to have fallen into a pattern of her sleeping 3 hours at a stretch at night, which helps immensely!
Clint is a very good big brother. He likes to kiss Abby on her head, and if I am feeding her he likes to sit right next to me. He has become slightly clingy, which we expected, but slowly he's getting over that.
Katie has gone above and beyond her big sister duties. Holding Abby for me when I need to help Clint, or playing with Clint and distracting him while I help Abby.
With the first week over, and life settling into some sort of pattern, I can finally sit back in awe and wonder at the wonderful family Rick and I have created!!! Welcome to the world Abby we are so happy you are here!
