Happy Bed Time

Clint thinks big kid beds are awesome.  For one he would have a pillow, and for two no rails!!!!  This is story time in our house and it takes place in Katie's bed.  Clint pretended at first to go right to sleep, but he couldn't control his giggles at being in Katie's bed, and was found soon enough.  He likes this new nightly routine, and she does too.  Just so long as he eventually gets out so she can get some real sleep!

Past Pictures

I bet at one time or another you have downloaded the pictures off your computer and went "oh yeah I forgot about that one!"  I found these two this morning.  Rick got a 4 wheeler for Christmas.  When you live out here and hunt like he does life is a lot easier with one of these!  He was walking the 4 plus miles in from his truck to get to his spot.  And while you may think well that's just good exercise you have to remember if he gets an  elk he has to carry it 4 plus miles out to his car.  In pieces.  In the cold.  So like I said life is now much easier.  Katie was so excited to get a ride.  Rick took her around the block, but I know she will be enjoying lots more rides come summer!!

Clint wasn't fond of the 4 wheeler.  He also wasn't fond of Katie and Rick leaving him behind.  He decided to go after them, and I'm pretty sure he thought he could catch up!  Good luck son!!

Good Boy???

Clint had just finished his little bag of Doritos and was ready to wipe his face.  What a good boy right?  I mean he is learning how to take care of himself, how awesome is that!?!
Unfortunately he wiped his face on my bathroom curtain rather than the towels under it.  But it's better than wiping his face on my sheets I guess.  Oh the joys of having children!!!

My Big Girl

Katie was in her school's talent show last week.  These are her 3 besties who were in the show with her.  If you missed it I posted a 30 second or so clip on my YouTube account to show their awesome moves!  They danced to Clint's favorite song Dynamite.  The girls were certainly a hit, and many complements were given on their bravery to stand up in front of the entire school, not to mention 50 or so parents, and dance for 3 minutes!
It seems like just yesterday she was my shy little girl who wouldn't do anything that might make her feel embarrassed in front of anyone but me or daddy.  She is sure growing up!!!
